Focus, People, Focus

Since we've gotten into photography, we've naturally taken more notice of our surroundings. As a result, the myriad colored walls abounding throughout the city has recently become one of our favorite things about Chicago. From Mexican food joints to saturated residential doors, the buildings throughout the city help to make Chicago graphically interesting and visually inspiring. This shot by swanksalot, with the red and white of the wall blending with the iconic blue USPS box, is a prime example of how we can get excited just walking around the neighborhood.

Focus, People, Focus is a weekly photography feature that features a photograph taken by a reader of the site. If you'd like a chance to have your photo featured on Friday as part of Focus, People, Focus, upload your photo to Flickr and tag it with "Chicagoist".
