Guess what Brother Word Up,

I kinda agree with you with respect that the Suntimes should find out what kinda kid the boy is first. Because although "the man" has put in place over the years a failed educational system that teaches more violence than education, nothing will change unless the community “wakes up”.

The reality is that kids are walking the halls of CPS with a "get rich or die trying" gangster mentality. Yea I can explain the origins intellectually and socially, but this means nothing to the few kids trying to actually learn
while being terrorized. I’m interested in hearing what Tamika’s( his mothers) roll is as a parent at that school. Is she involved only now that this sorry situation occured down?
I’d feel a lot more sympathetic if inner city parents told the truth about their kids and then explained how hard it is being a single parent in the inner city with no resources, instead of just saying “he’s a good kid and didn't do it” when they know he’s causing/caused trouble.

Now Word-Up I look forward to your response at the next instance of police wrong doing and according to Sneed, it looks like its coming soon

Of course, the Sun-Times, in its never-ending search for readers, prints another story of someone getting abused by "the man."

Perhaps the young Corliss student mentioned above should have obeyed the directions of his school's security staff. And perhaps his mother should not believe everything her son tells her.
