I actually like the idea of a third party. The greens have some interesting ideas and in cook co. the dem machine is organized crime at its best and the repubs are a joke. I wish them well and may throw a vote there way in any race where the other canidates are uninspiring.

Timo They are losers because we are losers,unable to imagine a multi party system like in Europe,South Africa,Isreal, etc. Actually I'm on my local green party email list, but I haven't went to any of the fundraisers because, well honestly I didn't want too because I assumed they all where/are just kinda weird. I know one of the candidates who ran for local office( as a Green) a few years ago and he was really weird and who wants to spend a couple of hours with a bunch of wired people on a Saturday night? But that’s one of the reasons the good lord invented alcohol and I have always noticed that they have their events at bars, so the next one I'm going to attend. I mean they got enough votes for federal matching funds, so why shouldn't we support them? M argaret clearly is all about O'Bama, but I'm not interested in "safe" I want reform and real change!

timocity: You're entitled to your opinion, but the Greens have won lots of local races around the nation. Rather than die off after a few years (can you say Reform Party?), they've grown larger and more legitimate after each successive election cycle. As for the BP logo, well, the GP has been around a lot longer than BP's greenwashing campaign.

GREEN can also be spelled LOSER, in regard to the political party. Also, the GREEN Party logo appears to have been pirated from the BP logo, in large part.

Is it too late to enter? I have wonderful ideas and I just want to be heard. Kucinich is the man, and I am not kidding about that. I think that if he wasn't so tiny, people might actually listen to him. This is no joke, either.
