Well, I did say that it is expensive to eat at Hannah's, but the sandwich isn't $16. That is like saying I went to McDonald's, got a hamburger, a large fry, a large coke, an apple pie, a salad, and an ice cream and it was $16! I also disagree that the chips are bad, the chips are one of my favorite parts, but thats personal preference.

I do have to agree that the the bagging policy at the new N. Michigan Hannah's is peculiar. I was dining in as well, and I was given a huge bag. The trash cans were full of these huge brown paper bags, and I'm sure that using baskets or trays is much more economical.

You're right Ryan

16 bucks for a sandwich, a cup of soup, and a bottle of water is totally reasonable and I understand your concerns, any way would you be interested in a purchasing a very large and well traveled bridge in Brooklyn NY?

I had my first Hannah's experience earlier in the week. My verdict: huge disappointment. My $16 lunch (a sandwich, a cup of soup, and a bottle of water) was tasty enough, though my "complimentary" chips were mostly crumbs. If they had a taste other than cardboard, I would've brought them back for another bag.

My main problem is the "simple" and "green" signage throughout the space. The server didn't inquire whether I wanted my order to dine-in, and I was given a large bag with my food. By the end of the lunch rush, the trash was overflowing with empty bags, which only reinforces the hypocrisy of their motto. Additionally, you cannot get glasses of water, only paper cups or bottles of (absurdly) expensive French water from the cooler.

A $16 "green" lunch isn't unreasonable, but there has to be a reason besides status that I pay that much. I'm not funding decor choices, I'm attempting to support actual causes. You're better off buying all the ingredients from Whole Foods, making an equally tasty sandwich at home, and brown-bagging it for a few days. Less money and no BS.

Opps my bad, Ms. big white, yellow and Pink uhmmmm raddit? named Sarah

As we near Thanks Giving, the fact that that sandwich( I can see the meat now) looks so darn healthy combined with the server emotional trama I'm dealing with now that my uncle has jumped ship with the rest of my traitorous family and gone Vegetarian is just too much for me to deal with!

It’s a conspiracy is what it is! What kinda summer BBQs are we gonna have !?! And I’m boycotting our first “Vegetarian Thanks Giving”!
Like Uncle Paulie from the Sopranos said, “F*ck dat" I aint going!

I'm gonna get one of those sandwiches( put some horse radish on it) and a case of Guinness Extra Stout and watch movies!

While I wholeheartedly concur, Mike, I don't believe there is any gouda on that sandwich.
