Basic beers like Bud and Miller come in 24 pack cases. They actually have a decent beer selection, and our order often includes a 12 pack of Red Stripe bottles in the summer.

I've been meaning to sign up for Peapods, so I don't have to shop in the summer. Do they deliver beer by the case?

I only recently discovered Peapod but so far I have had not problems. I absolutely love the service and have no desire to go back to the old days of waiting in line at Jewel. I always use the "unattended" delivery window so it never matters to me what time the delivery person arrives (the food is in coolers so it can wait). I hope Peapod learns from the investigation but the company is too valuable to me to me to close up shop anytime soon.

I've never gotten spoiled produce, but they are wildly inconsistent with delivery times. Sometimes 30 minutes after the window, sometimes 30 minutes before. I got home at 3:40 for a 4pm delivery the other day and the delivery driver had been there for 10 minutes.

interesting..... im not so so much of a peapod fan anymore anyway after my last 3 deliveries had either spoiled/expired food or gross produce. back to using my old lady cart for groceries....

I always got carded when I had alcohol in my Peapod order. And I'm 32. Guess it all depends on the driver.
