So what would you all have done? Excuse the people who shot the poor woman? Whether or not you like Daley, don't go blaming him for stating the obvious. These gangbangers are punks and they should be turned in. Unfortunately, you're all a bunch of cowards, and the kind who hide your cowardice in sympathy for such evil urchins of the street.

"In a neighborhood plagued by gang violence, cooperation with the police probably isn't as straight-forward as the Mayor would like." True. But it also is true that these neighborhoods could improve if at least a few brave citizens started to come forward on matters like this; so much can come from the brave actions of a few. Or, perhaps, more parents should act as actual parents.
