Tower18 is originally from Detroit and watched Infante play for the last 4 or so years. He's no star, but he's solid.

Infante was a good player in Detroit who could never get playing time, playing behind an all-star and Gold Glove winner in Placido Polanco. Sure he was the starter 3-4 years ago under Trammell, but he was also 21 years old at the time. Plus, he can play a lot of positions (2B, SS, 3B, LF, CF, RF) so he's very useful as a utility man.

Leave it to the Cubs to trade for a guy who isn't that great. Sure Jones started the season on the down side but during the second half of the season he put up some good numbers. And lets face it, there is no way that Alex Rodriguez is coming to the Cubs given that Torre is now in LA. Look for Rodriguez to be wearing Dodgers Blue at the beginning of next season. Oh yeah, and look for those Cub fans to keep filling the seats and filling the pockets of whoever purchases them even though you will not see a World Series for a very long time.......
