Thanks for writing about this. The Bitter Tears and The Blisters have also recently been confirmed. We deliver cash money and gifts (without any warning to the families) personally on Christmas day. No overhead-- no "official" charity-- just regular people giving money the day of the show, regular people delivering money to regular people in the most honest way. Thanks again for the writing about the show!

Oh, I'm not expecting anything but the two of them with guitars. It's just interesting that they're teaming up again. And it does sound like a very cool event for a good cause.

This is a very cool event with tons of improv and a few songs from great artists, but it's a somewhat casual event so I wouldn't go into it expecting a massively awesome Breeders reunion show. That said, it is WELL worth attending because all money raised goes directly to helping the needy during the holidays in a very real way. I went last year (for about 6 hrs anyway) and it was a great time. Jeff Tweedy played a few songs and improvisers did scenes off of his songs and storytelling.
