I think it's the type of government you would get if you went to the local mental ward. They all seem a little crazy to me. Or perhaps hired all 5th graders. But then Toddler is the leader. Are you sure they were elected or are they all out of day passes from the nut house? Or is this some type of therapy for them? Calling Dr. Phil!

The crook co commisioners are the most pathetic bunch of losers ever elected. This is the type of goverment you get when you have one party control. These commissioners dont care about the voters they care about patronage jobs and no bid contracts for friends and family. It is absoultley pathetic that tax increases are all this group offers.

Maybe they should just have a TLC match and get it over with. Beavers in one corner, Peraica in the other. what would the over-under be on that? And was anyone else grossed out by the big nuts comment made by Beavers? This would be funny if it wasn't so sad and ridiculous. Can you imagine what Illinois politics looks like to the rest of the country? We're making Florida look good.

Flying below the radar on the Cook County Board is political hack Joan Murphy. Serving a district in the southern part of the County, Murphy is stabbing her voters in the back. She is simply a machine hack in Stroger's pocket, chumming along with Beavers, Sims, Butler, Todd Stroger and the other crooks. Murphy's only goal seems to be self-preservation. If she kisses up and votes for tax hikes and for sweetheart deals for the Stroger cronies, Beavers cronies, etc, then they will help Murphy in return. She'll get jobs and contracts to hand out and help with her next election. The poverty pimps on the Cook County Board are entirely expected. This business with Joan Murphy is way more disappointing and disgusting.

Well, the commissioners in question are native to the South Side, although I think it is safe to assume 99.9% of those below Madison are more intelligent than this. Unanswered is why people in Beavers' district would elect this guy. His pro sales tax increase hurts poor people the most, and they form the majority of his district.

yeah, no offense, but this is real southside shit. evanston, wilmette, winetka all the way to lake forest are not into this type of governance.

Let us not forget the best comment of all, Beavers stating "he's the hog with the big nuts and he's going to tell you how it is." What's next? "Stone Cold" Steve Austin dropping a stunner on the commissioners? I would hardly blame the North Cook suburbs for forming their own county. I would back it if I lived there.
