Vise Beer, I'm gonna keep an open mind about Mr. Reilly because of you. My friends give me beef about Manny Flores, so its important to read the tea leaves before commenting, but I will remind you that before becoming alderman Reilly worked for SBC as a high paid lobbyist, before tthat it was Mike Madigan. Please remember, I'm not judging, yet. just giving folks some context. p.s please add Jan Schakowsky and Bobby Rush too the list

You folks are missing a really big point if you think Beavers is a racist, he’s playing the race card, like Daley, but with out the nimbleness Beavers has always been a staunch white machine Loyalist. He’s hated the political southside Mau Mau’s as much as he’s hated the lake front Goo Goo reformers It’s missing these political nuances that hold “us” captive p.s and remember the Mayor backed Tillman in the last go round just like he backed Beaver's daughter

Funny how race wasn't an issue in the 12 years that John Stroger was president. Suddenly the only reason an incompetent boob like the Toddler is a target of criticism is because he's black. However Beavers is right that this is like the Harold Washington days, except the reforms are being held up by black racists living in the past, instead of white racists living in the past. The days of black racists like Beavers getting a pass thankfully seem to be coming to an end. Let's hope he meets the same fate as Dorothy Tillman soon.

What's so interesting is that Beavers didn't support Washington when he first ran for Mayor and won. Then Beavers "joined" Harold's coalition, not because he liked Harold, he didn't. Beavers was part of the white Machine in bed with the white corrupt politicans. But had he oppossed the new Mayor Harold, Beavers would have lost his office for sure. Further Beavers always chided Washington for not doing what the mayors had done before him, which was continue in the same gangster tradition of all the white Mayors, except he was suppossed to put Black folks first. Something Harold would not due, which pissed alot of Black Politicans off off. When Harold died Beavers supported Eugene Sawyer the Black Candadite supported by the white machine as oppossed to Tim Evans supported by the progressives who supported Harold befor his death. I can’t wait for Ald. Sandra Jackson to take him out as ward committeemen, and if he stays on as Cook County Commissioner, some one from Jackson’s army will take him out as Commissioner. But Kevin, speaking of race, its interesting that you left out the big fight when Com. Liz Gorman, called fellow Republican Tony Peraica a "loser," "pathetic, pathological liar," an "abusive weasel" who is "no man," and an "ineffective leader" with "no substance." How does that get left out?

He's disgusting and despicable, yet highly predictable (that's my new jingle for Beavers). "Race" is a winning card for Beavers. He gets a lot of publicity and he does not care of every sensible person in this city thinks his claims are absurd. This latest nonsense will gain him more votes from the residents in his district. It will also get him more favors, including jobs and contracts for friends and family, from Todd Stroger.

Beavers is the racist. This is a joke. cut corruption and patronage but dont raise taxs. playing the race card like this is why so few people notice when real discrimination happens. Sandi Jackson is going to take beavers Ward post and then 3 years from now he will fade away.

Beavers is guilty of breaking Godwins Law subarticle 001 which states that you cannot cry "racism" just cause you don't get your way.
