The American version is quite Foxed up... but he BBC Kitchen Nightmares *rocks* and I have to agree with Margaret that the F Word is great, too.

Ramsay can stay the hell away from Golden Nugget. I love that place (or places, actually), regardless of how dirty it might be.

Oh how I love Chef Ramsay. He's always taking his shirt off and telling young cooks stuffing herbs and goodness under chicken skins to "Make love to it, not f**k it". Rawr.

The british version is a bajillion times better than the American one, the American one is basically a makeover show, the British one, he teaches the chefs to love cooking again, and the owners how to grow some nads.

Also, the F word is fabulous.

Anyway, I think he should go to Jalapeno Sabroso on Lincoln, place used to rock, now its scary.

Colicchio didn't crack your top 3, Laura?

Anyhow, from what I've heard, the original British version of "Kitchen Nightmares" featured much less of Ramsay going over-the-top and screaming and more of him actually collaborating with the restaurant chefs and staff to improve the restaurant. But of course, that wouldn't be as entertaining to American viewers...
