I normally agree with the Chicagoist but damn. I had this sandwich a few weeks ago and was so very disapointed. Nothing says saturday afternoon like a BLT. The bacon was minimal, tomatos old and very little mayo! I mean come on, for the price you pay they can spare some extra mayo! The bread was so hard I left with a bloody lip! Yes the bread cut my lip!!! If you want a good BLT your best bet is not here.

Thier crab cake sandwich may be good, but no one has ever had an amazing crab cake until they try this good old Maryland classic recipe on www.epicurista.com. I grew up in Maryland and I will assure you that it is the real deal! Mmmmm!

I like Milk & Honey's food offerings as a general rule. But ... almost every time I've been there, the staff have been jerks (the food it good and it is close to my house, so I put up with 'em). I don't know what their problems are, they need to collectively remove the stick from their rear.

You, Mr. Koh, have obviously never had a BLT using homegrown/farmer's market tomatoes in season. A whole other level right there. Seconding The Depot's BLT -- the bacon is phenomenal (like most everything else there).

I love almost everything Milk & Honey makes, with the exception of this sandwich. I may be a bit too Chicago in my meat expectation, but feel like there could certainly be a bit more of the star ingredient on this one. It's tasty, if you like mouthfuls of toast.
