It’s the only time when I mix with suburbanites. But ever the years Christkindlmarket gets worse! it use to be international. I brought Shona soap stone statues from Ghana, lamps, sweaters, and incents, and bowls from Tibet , some of the coolest Belgium sweaters with two six foot scarves. Now it’s full of cheap Ecuadorian stuff and mostly over priced trinkets to satifisy tastes that range from between Berwyn to Schaumburg. And the food? Two tiny/skinny bratwurst on a bun WTF? But that’s what happened when Daley charges ridiculously high vendor fees. This year its continued to decline.
