See in the New Year with Jon Brion for Free!

2007_12_brion_nye.jpgWe were one of the few lucky enough to catch Jon Brion when he stopped by The Hideout earlier this year. His one-man band is truly an awesome spectacle top behold, and will seriously leave anyone withing earshot slack jawed. When we heard he was coming back to Chicago to play a New Year's Eve show at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park we immediately thought, "This is the show to beat." So far, no other show has been announced that is as exciting, in our opinion.

So we're very excited to be able to offer a pair of free tickets to a lucky Chicagoist reader! Admission includes an open bar, two sets from Brion, and pre- and post-show parties in the theater lobbies. Our contest ends Friday so enter now!

Jon Brion plays the Harris Theater in Millennium Park, Monday, December 31, $85, 21+, and tickets are still available

Open bar? as in free drinks all night? and 2 sets from Jon Brion? That's a damn good price. Most NYE concerts are $85 and you have to pay for your booze too

Best thing going on for NYE...and cheap! Spoon is charging, like, $75 with NO BOOZE. That's alright - I'd rather see Jon Brion anyway.

I hate you, Chicago. Spoon and Jon Brion are both playing NYE shows?
