So, the Machine seems to again be giving a big middle finger to the courts, yet again. And the Machine continues to control the nitty gritty of the local election process, ensuring its candidates almost always get elected. And the Machine continues to enrich its members and associates, budget problems be damned, while public education sucks, the cops protect their bad apples and infrastructure such as the CTA collapses. And we all continue to take it up the ass (while the Machine reaches into our pockets) like loyal little subjects who love being ruled. That's Chicago for you.
