As an Irishman from the 48th Ward, I assure you, Alderman Stone is as sharp as any politician serving the City of Chicago. I disagree with him on many issues,example, Mr. Stone is for Clout in hiring. Mr. Stone is a true Daley supporter. I will say all said and done, if you call Alderman Stone, he will call you back, and that is a true public servant.

As a Jew, who lived in Rogers Park and dealt with the Stone's nonsense on more than one occasion I can tell you, this story comes as no surprise. The Stone family is a bunch of clowns. I recall hearing the elder Stone on Tom Roser's radio show saying that a vote for his opponent was like saying "Jews out!" He's been all but senile for years, I doubt he even fully understood his own son was running.
