I spent about $700 at macy's today. The staff was helpful but the store really needs some renovations. It seems like macy's is turning it into a carsons.

Ward, other Macy's people: I want to take this chance to thank you all not only for the work you did against Macys--won't those goddamn New Yorkers ever learn that Chicago doesn't take to out-of-town retailers?---but also the equal amount of labor y'all put in when protesting the sorry state of public transportation; or the TIF abuse; or the property tax increases; or the crappy public schools that continue to force many young parents to flee to the 'burbs; or any of the other vital issues Chicago faces. Job well done. Oh, and thanks for putting the jobs of Chicagoans who work at Macy's at risk so you asshats can satifisy your inverted civic priorities and your own selfish needs for nostalgia. Fields is coming back, right? Right? Fucking losers.
