Dude, I know all about the caste system and it still comes down basically to economic status and opportunites based on which one you're born into. I guess I just expect more "get up and go" from a member of the "better caste" he he he :-) Actually, I'm glade people are starting to wake up to how stupid it is, figures that this Jack A$$ didn't get the memo and from what I read in the paper he seems pretty guilty

Spook, "caste" has nothing to do with economic status. It's a blood and family thing. Back in India, he would never live in a mere suburban apartment (although it would be nice if he'd found the experience humbling). And I wonder if Ms. Lyons understands the dangers of trying a case in the media before anything has gone to trial. While the evidence--such as it is, released by and controlled by police and prosecution--does point to Mr. Chander's guilt, we've seen so much of this stuff go belly-up that it's just poor journalism to editorialize "Riiiiight" to the sister's statement. Can I presume you also would have written the same snark when Riley Fox's father claimed he was innocent? Or the Duke lacrosse team?
