<description>&lt;p&gt;You mentioned the &quot;..two pair of socks...&quot; kind of day.  That made me think of something.  I had to be outside for several hours and a friend recommended the &quot;Toasty Toes&quot; pads that you can buy at Walgreens.

These little pads are shaped like the toe part of your foot.  You stick them on the bottom of the outside of your socks.  If you are wearing two pairs of socks, be sure to stick them on the outside of the &quot;inner&quot; pair.

The surprise?  They actually work.  And they&apos;re cheap.  But you still have to keep your feet dry.  Heck, I could be their new spokesperson.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;The Pink Line was unavailable due to switching problems this morning.  Now, I would have thought this would mean a better lead time between trains, but my Purple line train was ten minutes late.

That was at 7:55 this morning.  My testicles just dropped back down a few minutes ago.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
