I should also point out, Tower, that Rocky Wirtz, Dale Tallon and John McDonough are working like fiends to re-shape the team's public image. Having two marketable and entertaining future superstars in Kane and Toews also does wonders to draw fans to the UC, and they've been coming in droves the past few games.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, Tower18. I don't give a rat's ass about hockey, but I'd be interested in going to an outdoor Hawks game. I bet it would be a blast.

That game was amazing! Loved the throwback uniforms, didnt care for all the ice hole filling in time.

Yeah, the only problem is that people care about hockey in Buffalo and Pittsburgh. The Hawks can't fill United Center, how the hell could they draw 3x as many to sit outside? Almost ANY other O-6 team could pull this off, EXCEPT the Hawks.

Something tells me that fans in Chicago wouldn't come out en masse like they did in Buffalo (which is pretty much Southern Canada), but it would be amazing to see a game held at Soldier Field. The Hawks have been quite a Cinderella story this year, and it would be perfect timing. Should we have a rally?
