KISS-FM's "Radio Boy" Michael Wawrzyniak has been charged with indecent solicitation of a child for allegedly trying to arrange a meeting for with a 13-year-old in Carol Stream. It wasn't a 13-year-old, though. It was a cop.
Wawryzniak, of 1720 S. Michigan Ave, was arrested Friday "without incident." According to Chicago Suburban News,
[Carol Stream Deputy Police Chief Kevin] Orr said the charges were filed after an “extensive” online investigation. Orr said detectives were solicited for sex by Wawrzyniak, and a meeting place was set up in Carol Stream where the suspect was expected to meet the child. The child's gender was not specified by police.
NBC 5 is saying it was a boy, but the Naperville Sun is saying it was a girl. Either way, illegal and abhorrent.
Wawrzyniak, a recent graduate of Columbia College, is no longer employed at KISS-FM. Parts of his Facebook profile after the jump. It includes such gems as "I'm just a fun lovin' guy who's up for anything new and exciting, life's WAY2SHORT to not try it once."

Regardless of whether this guy is guilty or not, it's generally a good rule of thumb that whatever you put on myspace or facebook can be seen by anyone. It becomes public domain in a way.
So, I say make fun of him if for no other reason than he loves Fall Out Boy and reminds us of that several times in ALL CAPS. That and the "Duuude. I'm holding 4 drinks. I am awesome" pose.
Unfortunately, I've heard him on the radio in the morning (yes, I listen to KISS, but only for the Drex Morning show which is surprisingly devoid of music and very entertaining) and I'm glad he's not a regular feature. He sounds just like the douchebag his profile makes him out to me.
