Serious question: how do I find out if I'm registered? I filled out the form when I got my driver's license, but I don't remember getting anything else in the mail. Is there somewhere I can do a quick check without having to go downtown?

"I think the county did a terrible job of telling people when to register and how to vote." It is every citizen's duty to stay on top of this. You can't expect people to hold your hand in these matters, even when matters often are needlessly complicated, as is usually the case in Cook County.
