Dog fighting is a really weird cultural divide. If you looked at the people howling for Michael Vic's blood in front of the courthouse they were uniformly white. I think dog-fighting is a cruel and ugly form of sport, but I think there are deeper issues of race and poverty in the media response to these kind of stories.

Dog fighting is okay if you're black though, because it's part of the culture. Or so I've heard. *because some have thin skin, the preceeding post was not serious*

if there weren't already a million reasons for me to love jon stewart, i loved that he was so publicly furious about the michael vick thing. now, parrots are a whole other story. i think a parrot who could mimic eminem would be positively horrifiying.
