Thompson, Edgar & Ryan are all crooks. Thompson was bribed with antiques or blackmailed into doing things as he's a closeted gay Republican. Edgar is all tied up with the corrupt horse racing business & the corrupt Illinois Tollway. Ryan of course is in the slammer for his bribe taking.

I thought Ryan was a decent governor, too. (Remember, in Illinois, if you're not cheating, you're not a politician) Terrible Sec. of State, though... /Kankakee, represent!!!

Jim Edgar was the dude, the man and the chief. Bring that guy back. Or James R. Thompson. These people aren't dead you know.

No one with a shot ran against him. The Republican Party is dead in Illinois, for better or worse.

Moved to IL in June...So this guy was re-elected in 2006 and we're stuck with him for another two years? How'd he win re-election being so hated?
