One does have to wonder why the Sun-Times chose to break their "big exclusive" -- with a four reporter byline, no less -- on a Saturday. Probably because it didn't amount to quite the level of a Blago scandal and tossing around Obama's tangential connection to a mobbed-up guy in the middle of a hotly contested presidential race would be cheap politicking. I'm not an Obama Kool-aid drinker by any means, but I'd rather see a debate on the issues than some scurrilous nonsense.
