I think its very important to add to this discussion that Dr.Hannibal Lecter actually preferred to interview actors outside of their own skin or at least in the half skin. But with that said, good luck cleaning up after Rachelle. I can only imagine what the Chicagoist office space looks like with brain matter and skull all over the wall, gross. So word on the street is that I'm a shoe in for this months Chicagoist T shirt!

"uncomfortable in his own skin..." i can't tell you how many addicts i have heard use that phrase to describe how it feels to be living their lives. it's sad, indeed.

God, that is so sad. I just heard Dean Richards on WGN talking about how he interviewed Ledger half a dozen times and said he had "never interviewed an actor as uncomfortable in his own skin". Such a damn shame that someone with seemingly everything going for them should come to such an end. Fame, money and renown just aren't happiness.

Oh, how sad. What a promising, talented and handsome young man. I always enjoyed him in his roles, and won't be able to watch the new Batman without a twinge of heartbreak. My thoughts are with his family and daughter at this time.

Brisbane 07:30 am Wednesday 23rd Jan 2008. (Australian Time) I wake to be told this news. not believing it, I jump online and find this all over Google News. the only inaccuracy I find is that I was told he was found in a Motel in California... less than an hour after receiving the news I am still not believing the news even though it's everywhere. glad to read though that early reports dismiss Foul Play or Death by Mis-Adventure. This is a great loss. to the US Film industry more so to Australia, but none more so for his Daughter and Family. my thoughts are with his family in this time.
