Surly's "bender" brown ale is hell-a-good as well. While there may not be a formal connection between the two companies, I noticed Surly (bikes) was giving out free cans of Surly beer at their both at interbike. Hopefully Surly won't end up like New Glaraus--where they wet our appetite, get us hooked, and then pull out when demand gets to high.

Although you probably could make a feasible connection to off-road bicycling. The Lutsen Mountains just outside of Duluth have the best trails in the Great Lakes. A Surly would go down well after a day there.

Nope. These are two guys running a small brewery in a burb of Minneapolis. Only place outside on Minnesota that gets Surly beers is Chicago. Yeah us!
