Barack Obama continues to try to put a distance between himself and the shady Tony Rezko, giving more Rezko money to charity. Or as the Sun-Times puts it, "Barack Obama on Tuesday night aimed to scrub Tony Rezko's taint."

Money just got cheaper. The Fed dropped interest rates another half-percentage point to 3 percent. Go, go gadget economy!

Federal investigators cleared the Brookfield Zoo of any wrongdoing in the death of 11-year-old Dusti the giraffe. If you recall, Dusti broke his neck.

Two Metra trains hit a minivan yesterday, and police cameras caught the whole thing. No one was hurt, but that fireball going down the tracks looks pretty scary.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one who noticed that particular phrasing of Barack Obama's actions. I admit to audibly giggling when I read it.

I definitely laughed when I read the word "taint" in a newspaper this morning. Ah double entendres.
