From the BBC website:
Love Me, Love My Doll focuses on a group of men who have fallen in love with their life-size dolls, called "Real Dolls." For these men, their $10,000 lifelike, built-to-order creations have replaced human women.

I love that Pathetic Losers is apparently a regular feature.
I guess we all need to engage our inner junior-highschooler from time to time, right?
Come on, doesn't everybody get the right to be happy? Even in the most twisted way? He's not hurting anyone. He's just weird. Pathetic loser is a bit much.
I think I saw this about six months ago and I think it was called "Lars and the Real Girl". Is it in Chicagoist's Mission Statement to be behind on everything? It can't be accidental...right?
P.S. I saw one of these in person at Igor's Dungeon on Belmont. Most fucked up thing EVER. But her boyfriend seemed to really love her.
Saw this years ago on HBO. BBCA has been rebroadcasting it as part of its Sunday Night "Hot Docs" series. My personal favorite would have to be Male, 33, Seeks Puberty, which was not skanky at all.
OK, I realize just about everyone's seen it by now, but can we do this guy's video resume next?

It's always good for a laugh.
And sorry, I don't know how to link anything.
You think his parents ever wonder why their son couldn't just be into drugs, prostitutes or pornography like a nice, normal boy.
I liked Boston Legal's use of the Real Doll best.
A character with Aspergers syndrome was using a doll to get himself comfortable around people.
I'd like to get the lower torso of one of those dolls, I read that it's cheaper if you don't buy the whole thing (easier to fit under my bed as well).
If you're going to go that far, just get a Fleshlight. (100% NSFW)
