Art speaks truth. Decoration covers up cracks in the walls.

What is the difference between "art" and "decoration"? I guess to pseudo-intellectual hipsters art has to make a "statement" where are decorations merely pander to the tastes of the viewer.

How much did this nonsense cost the people of Chicago? Or is this more bland corporate art to make us ooh and ahh at the magnanimous nature of Corus Bank or United Airlines?

Mandala Sand Paintings have been done for centuries and unlike this elaborate and empty color wheel they have soul.

This isn't art, it's decoration.
