A 33-year-old woman who is the sole survivor of Saturday's Lane Bryant killings says the victims were all tied up and shot at close range in the back of the head; she survived because somehow the bullet went through her neck instead of her head. She placed the 911 call.
The woman, identified by a Kentucky newspaper only by her first name Martha, is a Lane Bryant employee. Her parents moved from Illinois to Providence, Kentucky, and gave an interview to their local newspaper after speaking with their daughter by phone.

This guy has some kind of hatred for fat women. Why go into Lane Bryant store just to kill a bunch of overweight women?
I'm sure that they will have caught the scumbag before the week is up.
I have been thinking about why this happened at this store. I hope everyone can separate that it is a store for "a bunch of over weight women" and why this worthless asshole would even rob a chain clothing store.
I think it sounds like a personal thing that was made to look like a robbery. A lot of other stores would have a lot more money.
Maybe one of these poor women was mixed up with a bad guy. My first guess...
If it was personal, there would likely have been some sort of interaction that would have been recognizable to the now-released-from-the-hospital survivor. Did I use hypens correctly here?
If any personal interaction was recognizable, than every male ever present in the life of the victim who exhibited such personal recognizance would have been rounded up in about 6 hours, and whichever was on the lam would have had his face plastered on TV by now.
More likely than anything, one of the victims had blood under her fingernails. They are going to be doing some VERY fast DNA sampling.
And if this guy is in the system (and DNA database, as might be the case in a perfect world) than we can hope that they have a nationwide search for him going by, say, Wednesday or Thursday. My guess is that this evidence collection and analysis is part of what the FBI was brought in for, and samples are probably already at Quantico as I write this.
Honestly, I think this dude, or creature- was smoking the rock all night and craved more of the same like crack heads do after smoking the rock all night. This just seems a so ramdom and b so stupid because how much money would be in a store like that in the morning?
