Who needs a drink after this year's primaries? Don't worry, with both Mardi Gras and Super Tuesday today, there's plenty going on around town where you can get your drink on, and watch the election returns.
Crew Bar and Grill, at 4804 N. Broadway is hosting a Super Tuesday Primary Returns watching party. Bring your voting receipt and the first drink's on them (up to a $5 value).
Piece, at 1927 W. North Ave. is having a combined Mardi Gras and election results extravaganza, with $4 Hurricanes, $4 Golden Arms, and Fat Tuesday pizza. Plus, you get 10 percent off your bill with your voting receipt.
Barack Obama is having a Primary Night Party, and yes, Michelle will be there, too. The good times start at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Dr. Alas, tickets are all gone.
The Chicagoist Political Bureau will be knocking back a few with the Drinking Liberally folks at Sheffield's, 3258 N. Sheffield Ave. (in the back room). The boozing starts at 7, and while there are no drink specials, there will be TVs turned up and tuned in to the election results. Come say hi, and we'll give you a Chicagoist button.

I plan to drink at my polling place after voting, which just so happens to be Happy Village in the East Village. I don't think they'll have the election returns on, though :-(
It was lots of fun voting there this morning. Though I missed the ping pong tables... It would have been way better if you could vote and then play a round of ping pong.
Any similar events in Roger's Park? I'll probably be at random-neighborhood-bar otherwise.
phrakture: Buffalo Bar is the place to be. But get there early, cause it's gonna fill up fast!
