Whisky Fest Tickets Go On Sale

2008_02_WhiskyFest.jpgTickets are now on sale for the eighth annual Whisky Fest. The event, to be held April 4 at the Hyatt Regency downtown, is one of those big ticket events that sells out way in advance.

We went last year and it's safe to say that, even though we practiced moderation in a room filled with over 300 brands of whiskey and buffets on either side, we had to step away from the main floor to get some fresh air. We stopped keeping track at sixty whiskies and had no chance in hell of sampling every one. We also had to make sure we had our wits about us for the annual after party at Delilah's.

Whisky Fest Chicago Tickets are $110 each, or $150 for VIP registration. This will sell out.

Is this what heaven looks like???

seriously, this event sounds great. i can't believe it's the 8th annual and i haven't even heard of it

Looks like the most hellish crowd of assholes ever assembled.

as someone who likes drinking whisky, i personally disagree but understand why someone may think that way

Sometimes I say stupid things just to get attention.

$110? Many of the distilleries in Scotland let you tour (and taste) for free!

Of course, it costs more than $110 to go there, but still.

This is a great event for the price over 200 Whiskies + food.
Some of this stuff costs more than $50 a shot in a bar.
(If you want to go Its sold out this year but I have an extra ticket @ face value)

schneider007...do you still have your extra ticket? I'd be interested in taking it off your hands at face value.
