I thought she might actually be the owner or co-owner or whatever is happening there. I'd forgive that attitude in Lincoln Park or on Division or even in Wicker Park where the assholes come to play. But Andersonville? C'mon!

I haven't had this particular sandwich, but the Muskie ham sandwich at Hopleaf is the best ham sandwich I've ever had. And the mac and cheese is awesome. @mike_thoms: Yeah, she's not friendly. There was a bitchfest about her on Craigslist a while back. A friend of a friend works there and says she's actually a nice, normal person, but she's been there forever and ran out of Be As Nice As Possible a long time ago.

Hopleaf's female bartender (the one with the greying hair) is a huge bitch. she acts put out if you take longer than 10 seconds to decide which of their 120 beers you'd like.

I've been waiting for Chicagoist to list this as a One Great Sandwich! It's all I order at the Hopleaf--except subbing the potato chips with their life-ruiningly good French fries.

What is the deal with the whole "no duplicating orders" thing? My bf does that too. Seems silly. Also, Stilton mac and cheese sounds awesome.
