p.s The Defender is called by progressive elements in the Black Community, "The Offender" Its very sad when you think that this paper use to be such a progressive beacon of light. If the teacher is guilty, I'm glade the Defender caught it. But the bigger tradegy is that their total silnce about what Daley is doing to the schools

Hey Navin, I guess this is the answer to your question when you asked what Frankiec meant when he commented on the released Tinley park suspects sketch drawing with "Big surprise". Excellent! I think Chicagoist needs a skink head too provide real leadership to the few wanna bes out there

Hopefully the whole story will come out. Like it was scotch tape that the teacher used and saying the child was taped to the chair is an overstatement.But there will be no retraction from the defender. It was not appropriate but it did not raise to the level of the defenders accusations.

taping a kid to a chair for a few minutes doesn't really seem like that big a deal the chicago defender has apparently decided to start creating news themselves by implying this was racially motivated when there seems to be no evidence of such
