In a world where LeBron James' and O.J. Mayo's games are run on ESPN and everyone waits with baited breath to see if Terrelle Pryor will shit or get off the pot when it comes to picking a college, high school is indeed becoming a big deal. And, I kid you not, there is a freaking top 50 8TH GRADER rankings for basketball. It's getting out of hand, and it looks like IHSA wants to profit a little if we manage to get another Kevin Garnett or football stud in this state again.

I think the school is right. I wouldn't want some creep photographing my daughter's cha chas. Besides who in the hell cares about HighSchool sports anyway, I don't get it. IT'S HIGHSCHOOL, get a life.

I went to a private high school in Chicago (go Meteors!), and I played some sports there. There was a big hullabaloo either my junior or senior year about a guy who showed up, presented a press pass, took a lot of photos of the boys, and then the athletic director found them for sale on a pretty sketchy website.
