Well look at that - Rick lives right by me! I've always envied his garden on "Mexico, One Plate at a Time"...now I know it's exact location. ::evil laugh::

Rick is fantastic, as is his restaurant. His daughter, however... It's torturous, watching her take on increasing prominence on his show. Her cloying, fulsome screen persona completely rubs me the wrong way.

Word, Rick is one of those guys that makes you want to get in the kitchen ASAP and get to work. I also love how he overpronounces everything in Spanish.

Rick does a lot for this city. Great guy, great recipies and a great show. Mexico one plate at a time is top notch. I hope he doesn't move to mexico!

Rick works hard and has done so much to bring awareness of Mexican food and cultural awareness to Chicago, so heck, if he wants 10 of those beds more power to him. I've always respected his work ethic and standards for quality and his respect for other cultures.
