Sounds exactly like the Christmas tasting. They been having these tastings for a while and they do not learn. Mike just thinks it is great the way it is. The Christmas one was jammed and he let some women with a card table sell trinkets upstairs. They were taking tickets for beers, you think they could use the tables for beer and limit the numbers. I tell everyone I know who likes beer don't go.

Sounds exactly like the Christmas beer tasting, about an hour or two into it. At first, it was fine. If I would have known about the ridiculously crowded mob it was going to become, I would have drank a lot faster. As is, I would rather not attend more large "beer fests". I'll just stop in a have a nice whiskey on my own..

aaahhhhh..... I remember a time, when we could sit at the bar, talk with Mike about each pour, sip, enjoy, ask the guy down the bar what he thought of the last taster... It is great that more people are excited about good beer, but it does make these festivals a bit crazy now. Just imagine if there were still Chicago Real Ale Fests!!! I am sure Mike will fix things for the next event!
