As in this thursday? hummmmm I see I what's wrong with political organizing in this city. And shucks, and what's up with the Lake View hood? I mean what is this a cubs game or something? Perhaps if we had a week or two, or three we could hold a on line plebiscite to find a common hood, I mean we got lots of folk in Humbolt Park, Logan Square,etc on Chicagoist, so we might favor the Map Room,( off the blue line) because the music at the Green Eye sucks and folks that dress like bikers give me the he be gee bees. But on the real most chill, you folks do what you like, meet in LakeView, intellectually amp up or as Marlow said in The Wire "tool up" -intellectually that is- and when yall ready those on the Northwest side will deal with yall on a later date at a later bar. @Matty: Is it roomy enough and won't be crazy slammed on a Friday night so we can hear each other? I've passed it before (Margie's Candies is like an addiction to me) but never went inside. And I have the game, and can buy the latest Genus booster pack, the time and location is the only thing that needs to be worked out... and hyped for the entire week to ensure a decent turnout. We should compile some sort of list of comment trolls we want to all beat up on, though.

I'm really good at sports and movies, but none of this pop culture nonsense. Let us decide this on the field of history, science, and the arts. And seeing as how I probably don't want to see any of you naked, strip rules are out. So, play for drinks instead?

I'm an angry house-bound misanthrope, so I don't know any bars that have a nice wide area to hunker down and play board games in. But I know they exist. Sheffield's in Lakeview comes to mind. If anyone knows of one in Westown/Wicker Park/Logan Square, that would be swell as well. I'm free Wednesday-Friday Nights. The gauntlet has been thrown down...

Well My favorite Barkeep/ owner and I gave some one the treatment( I was more of the heavy!) for smoking at a table after she came up and tried to order another drink! She had dark hair so I wasn't sure. No problem but be sure to stay in your own hood! Be warned, stir clear of Logan Square! O.K back to the subject....
