OK, after BradyM80 pointed out the similarities, we couldn't resist the side-by-side. The guy on the cover of this Sega SNK game....

sure does look familiar:

There's something about games and local politics. Previously: Illinois Up-Per Cut!.

SNK is not the same as Sega.
MAGIC MISSILE MAGIC MISSILE MAGIC MISSILE!
I'm on the crackpipe. I totally thought "mega" said Sega. Sigh.
We need WAY more video game coverage on Chicagoist. This is a good first step in that direction...
Margaret, crack is not good for you. Please omit that from your diet.
Also that picture is pretty funny. Kind of like Bush or Chimp funny.
Guy on video game box: kinda like Willem Defoe, actually.
Governor of Illinois: at least in this photo, a bit like the 40-year old virgin.
Wow what a surprise to see my photo on chicagoist! The game is actually an old Neo Geo game. I found the box at a place called Videogames etc. in Norridge. They specialize in abandonware titles that you wont find at gamestop/eb games.

Good call on the photo comparison. Though I doubt he'll still be a 40-year old virgin after a stint in jail...
Upper right hand corner:
SUPER HIGH TECH GAME
Also, there were Battletech-looking machines in 'nam? I should be watching The Military Channel more.
Not to mention it's a ripoff of the classic Star Wars poster...
