Federer, Sampras Face Off Tonight

2008_3_10.wererootingforsampras.jpgPete Sampras and Roger Federer are facing off in an exhibition match tonight, and while it's a little late to make it to Madison Square Garden, you probably have time to get to the Landmark Theater at 2828 N Clark, where you can watch the match on a movie screen. For...$20. Which seems like a lot. But it could be cool! We're actually surprised there aren't more sporting events broadcast to movie theaters.

The showdown starts at 6:30. You can also watch online or on the Tennis Channel.

Would there be any bar in the city anyone knows of that I could go watch this??? I don't have the Tennis Channel, am slightly embarrassed to go to Landmark alone to drool all over tennis's adonises, and I feel like I could only be able to trick my friends into watching tennis if there's beer involved. Any ideas?

any sports bar in the city.

@matty, Actually no. Or did you expect that many bars in the city pay for the Tennis Channel? It's a sad story how many don't, I guess.
