What's up with the Abbate trial? He was supposed to go on trial November 19th and there hasn't been ONE word about it in the media ANYWHERE? Is there some kind of new plea negotiation? Is he going to avoid jail time? Will the Fraternal Order of Police save his job?

After watching the video again what a retard most of the punchs missed and the girl popped back up like she was fine. Im guessing he didnt plead because there is no way this is aggravated battery. The big fat ass didnt cause any bodily harm. He is guilty of many things but not agg. battery, that being said if he goes to trial he will be fucked jury or judge he will be found guilty no way around it. Im not defending the guy but any other bar fight this is a simple battery.

They knew he was an off-duty cop. He probably could have killed them and probably gotten away with it.
