i agree that the kid has been playing well as of late ... but let's get this straight: there is nothing "minor" about having your testicle sewn to your scrotum. here's hoping to a speedy recovery and no blue balls.

I unfortunately experienced "testicular torsion" when I was in middle school.Let me tell you,from first-hand experience,that the pain I felt was gut-wrenching.I was laying on the floor in the fetal position asking to be put out of my misery.I have never,even to this day,experienced anything that came close to hurting that bad.Seriously.Imagine what it would feel like to have someone wearing stell-toe boots connect with a swift kick to the junk....and then they kicked you 100 more times.It kind of feels like that. Thank god I was at school because if that had happened while I was home alone I would've cut them off.

any condition where there is a chance of testicles being removed should not be considered a "minor groin injury"... as long as pie keeps his eye on the ball, he should be alright this season.
