I've never heard of this happening before. Do only assholes show up when it's cold? My friend is a drummer in one of the bands that marched in the parade. He wears the kilt, etc. He had his Scottish knife ripped off his belt as he stood in a bar to look for his buddies. It's gone. His buddies weren't there, only drunks and thieves. This is why we can't have nice things.

Bagpipes are usually stored in a large hard or soft-sided case. Someone probably thought it had another kind of instrument or tools inside. Didn't they ever get a surprise...

so sad...i'm surprised since i've never had any issues when i've checked my bagpipes with the coat check. that coat room attendant has major explaining to do.
