Just When You Thought You Were Safe From an Amy Jacobson Story...

It's hard to believe we haven't heard anything about our favorite former NBC 5 anchor in almost three months. That all changes today as we get psyched for tonight's episode of Law & Order. America's favorite never-ending crime drama tackles the story of "a reporter who'll do anything to get her way." There's also a man whose suspected of killing his wife and said reporter appearing in a revealing bikini...yeah, sounds like our Amy. Check out a full description of the episode here and check out the preview below.

Robert Feder caught up with Jacobson, who is clearly not amused. Says Jacobson: "I don't find any humor in this at all...It's just another reminder of the high price I had to pay for trying to do my job. Hollywood takes things like this out of context all the time." Our favorite part of the story? The fact that some of her friends are getting together for a viewing party while Jacobson is actively avoiding (and pissed about) the episode. Supportive!

The episode of Law & Order airs tonight on NBC 5 at 9pm, and replays Saturday, also at 9pm.

Man I hate this fucking show. It'll never die either because they'll keep lazily writing scripts that are "ripped from the headlines"

I love L&O! But...wtf happened to Lara Flynn Boyle's face? Jaysus, that's a lot of botox.

Yeesh.

I think Amy Jacobson wasn't too smart in her choices regarding the whole pool party thing, but turning her into a wife-murdering crazy on her own former network? That's pretty shitty.

But then, it's Law and Order, what do you expect, the wire?

Margaret, you took the words right out of my mouth.

that's not Lara Flynn Boyle's face ... that's a mask. underneath is her real face, which is either "a normal looking face" which is probably attractive by "normal people" standards or Michael Jackson's old face.

"The high price I had to pay for doing my job."?!? Amy needs to come off her high horse. Nowhere in a journalist's job description does it say that it's acceptable to bring your kids to a pool party at someone's house whom you're investigating.

This is hilarious. Margaret, you really like Law and Order?

i'm hoping lara rips her face off like she did in poltergeist 2, the one that was set at the john hancock center. anything would be better than how she looks like now. she used to be so hot.

In Margaret's defense, I loved L&O back in the day, too. When I was in college (late-90's), A&E would show it something like 4 times a day? Absolutely insane. I actually missed classes because I'd get sucked in to an episode and was too enthralled to get off my butt and get to class.

I prefer slightly old SVUs--nothing like the sweet justice of catching rapists and child molesters--and vintage L&O (RIP, Jerry Orbach). But yeah, I really do like it.

Poltergeist 3 takes place in Chicago

Nothing like the sweet, sweet, smell of JUSTICE. TV justice.
