Any list that ranks Nascar above blow jobs should warrant a second draft, but scribbling out "God" in the number-one spot and writing in "Chuck Norris" is a bold, bold choice, too.

"In retaliation, Chancellor Trevino immediately placed the Presidential plagiarizer on Administrative leave."
("You're on leave." "No, you're on leave." "Am not." "Are too"...ad infinitum...)
I'll miss the Paulina Brown Line stop. It's bad enough the CTA closed the stop that's very close to where I live, but now with Paulina closing it makes getting to that area more difficult.
Getting to Whole Foods on Ashland with the two train stations I used to use being closed will more than double my time. Now I'm thinking of just getting a car.
Come on, let's not be melodramatic. From the stairs at Addison to the stairs at Paulina is approximately 1/3 mile. Even to Whole Foods, it's still about equidistant from Southport or Addison, at appx. 1/2 mile, or a 10 minute walk.
Certainly there are other grocery stores closer to you as well. Maybe this is time to try them out? Not trying to be a dick, but the sky isn't falling.
I'm just glad that Chicagoist has finally clarified its position that it is pro-beej.
Too bad that NU didn't do that with their journalism dean.

You're very judgemental without knowing circumstances. Adn where did you get off on deciding that the Addison station is one of my stations? I'm no where near the Addison Station.
I have dietary restrictions and am "stuck" with shopping at Whole Foods or doing mail order. There's also a medical issue which makes walking and carrying groceries a very painful event. I never said the sky is falling. I was pointing out that these station closings create major inconveniences for people who depend on public transportation for all of their travels.
