Just How Much Does that Frosted Flake Look Like Illinois?

illinois flake

About that much.

The "great Illinois corn flake," which is actually a frosted flake, is still available. Bidding has already cracked $1,300, which is gggggggrrrrreat news for the people selling it. Ugh, we couldn't resist the Tony the Tiger joke. [AP]

They are going to be sad when I find the flake and eat it!

I wonder if there are fifty flakes that look like states. Now that would be something else.

The pious thing to do, would be to purchase this flake and then give it as an offering to Underpass Mary.

@plumbum ... i can't figure out why *this* didn't make the 'awesome' list.

i can appreciate it, though. my dad would take bites out of pancakes until they resembled states.

Well, at least Google Chat didn't introduce another new feature. That's the kind of thing that warrants a DEFCON 2 red alert around these parts.

@Plum:

People here use Google ALL THE TIME and also they have an OFFICE HERE. Jeez.
