Justice For Iraq

2008_03_justice_party.gifWe've gone on and on about the Parisian DJ duo Justice in the past and, honestly, we need a little bit of a break from them. We seem to be the only ones though since they're coming through town again on Thursday and they're all the kids can talk about. (Actually, this is proving to be a pretty great week for dance fans, since it appears as if every single hot trend setter burning up the blogs in the past year is making their way through.)

Anyhoo, if you don't feel like dealing with the kids at the Justice show earlier that night at The Riv, they'll be throwing down a DJ set at the "official" after-party at Sonotheque. Supporting them will be The Gutterbutter DJs, including Tortoise percussion whiz John Herndon. We've also learned that all proceeds will go towards Acrassicauda. (Read our previous piece on just why it's worthwhile to give your dough in support of an Iraqi heavy metal band on the lam.)

1444 W Chicago, Thursday March 20, 9 p.m. - 2 a.m., $12 at the door / $10 with ticket stub from earlier Justice show, 21+
