Two-Car Crash on the Southwest Side Kills 4
A two-car crash on the South Side killed four people and injured four others this morning.
Otis Jolliff, 28, Otis Thomas, 46, and Theodore Jolliff, 28, died at the scene, and Sir Albert Cole, 20, the alleged drunk driver, died later at the hospital. Cole was apparently driving a Crown Victoria around 12:30 this morning on the 2700-block of West Columbus when he crashed into a Toyota Camry, killing its three passengers. The four passengers in Cole's vehicle, including a two-year-old, were injured and are in critical condition.
Police are still investigating the accident, but they say Cole's BAL was three times the legal limit. [Trib, S-T]
