Last week we put the spotlight on Snowball the poodle. But it's not just dogs that make great pets!
Nina is domestic short-hair female cat staying at the Red Door Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter in Rogers Park. Red Door focuses on the rescue, shelter and adoption of cats, dogs and rabbits, keeping them in a cage-free environment and working to place them in permanent, loving homes.
Nina's exact age is unknown, but she's an adult feline who likes people and other cats, and is described as "friendly, sweet and loyal," and would do well alone in a home, or living with other cats.
To adopt Nina, or to find another pet that needs a good home, get in touch with Red Door, or give them a call at (773)764-2242.

That's a very, err, unflattering photo.
Awww...she's a Bombay, like my cat.
They are very loud purrers, excellent lap cats and quite personable.
Sadly, we're all full up here at my place.
That's a very, err, unflattering photo.
Right? My first thought was, "Damn, that cat would kill me while I sleep."
That said, I hope Nina finds a good home.

Could you please take a look at a picture of my cat? I bought Espresso at a shelter when she was a kitten, and all they had for breed was short hair.
Her head looks shaved, as if she's still a kitty, she "talks" and loves/acts like a dog. thanx
